A Case of Multiple Sclerosis in Child Showing Homonymous Hemianopia.

Abstract
PURPOSE
To report a case of multiple sclerosis showing homonymous hemianopia which is rare in multiple sclerosis. METHODS: A 6-year-old male patient presented with headache and seizure. A brain MRI demonstrated multiple high signal lesions along subcortical white matter of both cerebral hemispheres. A visual field examination demonstrated left homonymous hemianopia. Visual field defect was improved after intravenous steroid theraphy. RESULTS: Multiple sclerosis is rare under age ten, and homonymous hemianopia also rarely occurs in multiple sclerosis.
