Abstract
A case of pure orbital fibroma was presented, which occured in the left eye of a 29-year-old Korean male. Decreased visual acuity and proptosis of 18 months duration were his chief complaints prior to his visit to hospital. Visual acuity was O.D. 1.2, O.S. 0.04, ocular movement of the left eye was limited to all directions and proptosis was toward the straight ahead. Affected eye ball was protruded 11 mm than that of the unaffected, and the left optic disk was pale. It was necessitated enucleation of the eye because the tumor was extensively grown in the apical portion of the orbit. Histology comfirmed the lesion to be pure soft fibroma.
